Introduction to Using Technology to Differentiate Instruction:

Our world is evoloving into a global society at a rapid rate; therefore, technology is a natural tool to use in the classroom to differentiate instruction and to best prepare our students for the ever changing world ahead. During this introduction session, participants will examine ways to implement Wikis and Blogs in their daily lessons. Teachers will learn how to challenge their students to compete in tomorrow’s world by integrating the most current digital resources within their daily instruction.

Hands-On Technology Training for Differentiating Instruction: Blogs

This is a hands-on lab experience for teachers that have attended the Introduction to Using Technology for Differentiating Instruction. Participants will explore a variety of ways to utilize blogs in their classroom as well as create a blog for their students to use. 

Using PowerPoint in the Classroom:

This session is for teachers that are new to PowerPoint and want to learn how to use it. Besides learning the basics of PowerPoint, the participants will learn how to create games and imbed videos and links into their presentations. Teachers will also discuss creative ways to use PowerPoint in their everyday lessons.

Making Technology Manageable in the Classroom

Do you want to engage your students with the use of technology but you fear that it would become unmanageable? This session will demonstrate how to create small group projects using digital cameras, video recordings and presentation software. Participants will have the opportunity to create a sample project using the various forms of technology. There will be ongoing support given for the implementation process through Cyber Coaching.

Using Technology in the Secondary Classroom

High school students are connected to technology. Why not engage your students by using more technology in your assignments? Learn project ideas using digital cameras, video recordings and presentation software. Participants will have the opportunity to create a sample project using the various forms of technology.
